Free Time

Okay so I woke up this morning to some free time because my downstairs air conditioner decided to stop working on us last night and it is a little to warm to do anything downstairs so we are trapped upstairs in our house. There isn't much to do up here so I have some extra computer time today. I thought I would catch up on a couple of fun posts that I never got around to publishing a couple of weeks ago. We have had some fabulous Saturdays lately. Since we are finally settling in to our house Jerame has had more time to spend with the family doing fun things. As most of you know Arizona in the summer time is not really the time to hang out outside but our girls had been dying to ride their bikes. So 8 am Saturday morning everyone braved the warm temperatures. Sydney and Kennedy really wanted to practice without their training wheels. In our old house we lived on a very busy street that was not ideal for kids and bikes but our new house is perfect and has tons of free open roadway. Sydney needed two seconds of help and she was off and never needed assistance again. She is so proud of herself. She loves the freedom of riding her bike like a big girl. Kennedy on the other hand did not take to it as easily. It took her quite a few tries and tears of frustration before she caught on but eventually she mastered it as well. Delaney had to try to but she quickly realized she just wasn't ready for that and wanted her training wheels back on. When they were all hot and sweaty and ready for a break they washed both of the cars and got nice and wet to cool off. Audrey got drenched and had a great time with the hose. She really enjoyed watering the chair, I wonder if she was trying to make it grow?? haha Delaney and Kennedy were hard at work every time I looked out at them. Kennedy loves being a helper and cleaning things.
Sydney on the other hand really enjoyed just goofing off and playing with the hose. I am not actually sure if she ever actually helped wash the car.
After the cars were all clean they decided to give the dog a bath.
Overall a fabulous productive fun Saturday. The girls said it was the funnest Saturday they had ever had.

Your neighborhood is so perfect for biking riding!!! Our street is too scary... and I love dad + girls washing the car! It is funny how each kid already has such different personality traits- helpers and players and goof offs and adventurers! A good saturday indeed!
