White Tanks

Jerame had vacation last week so we took the time to do some fun things with the girls since we decided not to leave Arizona. We went bowling, went to the science center, and we went on a hike to the White Tanks. We had terrific weather and really enjoyed ourselves. It was the first time we had ever taken the girls out there and the first I had been since I was a kid. It was so beautiful, everything was so green from all of the rain we had.
The girls had so much fun running and walking on the hike.
We got to see lots of great petroglyphs. The girls enjoyed seeing this because they had learned about it in art class last year. (Thanks Ammanda)
We hiked all the way back to the water fall . Unfortunately there was so much water they would of had to go wading to see it. Jerame and I opted not to have the girls do that because we could only imagine listening to them whine that they had wet shoes all the way back to the car. And if anyone knows Kennedy that would have been a very long hike back.<> Little Audrey was so happy to be let out of the back pack she just wanted to run and run. She fell a few times but always with a smile on her face. I love this sweet picture of all the girls. And yes, you can count if you were wondering, we took the girls friend Triniti along. She comes to school with the girls so this counted as a field trip day!
One more picture to prove I was really there. I tend to not get in many pictures so I am trying to add myself in there now and again. Kennedy took this picture for us. Well that was about all for this trip more to come soon on our weekend away from the kiddos.

Sounds like fun. I am ready for a vacation week with my hubby, but I'll have to wait until June!

That's a great idea. Wilson's been begging to go on a mountain for several months! Cute pictures!
