Sedona

Jerame and I got to go away for a couple of days all by ourselves. We can count on one hand the amount of times we have been away by ourselves since we have been married so it was a huge treat. Thanks to my sister, my mom and my brother for pitching in and helping out with the kids. They had so much fun, they keep asking when we are going to go away again (the kids that is). For those of you who know me well, you know I can't pass up a good deal. So when I was looking for a place to go there was a terrific deal in the paper. I called the number and low and behold it was a time share presentation. If you sat through there 90 min. presentation they would give you a hotel room for 19.95 and a $60.00 credit to use for dinner at one of the restaurants at the resort. Well after some convincing I talked my husband into it. I have never been to a time share presentation and really knew nothing about them so I decided to look at it as a learning experience kinda like going to school. It was very interesting and 3 1/2 hours later we left with our very nice inexpensive hotel room, money for a fabulous dinner, and no time share:) Although if you ever are interested wait until the very end because the price dropped by more than half when we were finally ready to go.
This is the only picture I took of us on our trip. That is the only problem with traveling by ourselves. Somehow I think it is worth the sacrifice :)
We really did have a great time and the presentation wasn't bad. It was a very budget friendly trip. Who says you can't vacation on a budget!!! Anyway after we checked out of our hotel on Saturday we decided to drive to Prescott our most favorite city up north. We were very surprised to see snow everywhere. I have never seen that much snow there before it was awesome.

We ended our fun trip by having dinner at my mom's and making smores on their fire pit in the back yard. It was so much fun and some terrific memories for my girls. I feel so blessed that we are able to have this time with my dad. It has been an incredible year of ups and downs but I am so thankful at how far he has come.

Organized Chaos! Audrey was so cute warming her hands by the fire:)
Well that was about it for the weekend. We are so blessed to have such a great big family that likes to spend time together.
