Hawaii Day 5 Part 1

We had a very busy day on Thursday so I am gonna break it up into two parts. We started our day going to the Waimea Falls. It was a mile hike back to a gorgeous waterfall. It was so pretty:) We went with Jerri Sue, Ron and both of the Grandpas. The Grandpas rode on a golf cart up there so they didn't have to walk. It was a great morning. Here are some of the beautiful pictures.
We made it to the waterfall. It was nice and warm and we were hot, hot, hot!
You can actually swim in the pool in front of the waterfall. It was 30 ft deep. We had our swim suits on but didn't get in. There were a few people that braved the water.
On the way back we really enjoyed the scenery. Here are lots of pretty picture.
After our very warm walk a Hawaiian shaved us was just what the Dr. ordered. SOOOO YUMMY!!! Mine was cherry, pineapple, and lime with vanilla ice cream on the bottom. Doesn't that just make your mouth water:)
This was a famous place that was known for their fabulous shaved ice.
Rory loved it. Pineapple was her favorite and she cried when it was gone:)
Blue stained face:)
The whole hiking gang enjoying a cool treat. Next to Jerame is his grandpa Jerry and next to Ron is his dad Jay.
Super fun day and it is only 11am. Stay tuned for yummy food and the Polynesian Cultural Center.
