It was a great day and we are so thankful for all of our great friends and the activities we get to do with them:)

Science Fair
We had a science fair today with our home school group. The girls all did one together because that is all mom could handle:)
They put an egg in vinegar and in a day the shell had dissolved and was soft and rubbery. It is pretty cool. Here is there project displayed. The ground is all wet because it was windy outside and the glass of vinegar got spilled over the ground.
This is some of the great kids on our home school group.
They are watching someones sun dial I think.
It is hard to see but here Sydney is holding someones mealworm that was part of his science experiment. Can you say GROSS!
Here Kennedy is checking out the same mealworms but she was not brave enough to touch them:) My kinda girl.
Audrey spent most of her time building sandcastles in the sand. I couldn't even get her to look at me she was to busy.
Delaney was watching someones experiment. The egg is suppose to get sucked down inside the bottle. It is pretty cool but was working very good today.

Sweet Baby Rory
I can't hardly believe Rory is already 13 weeks old. She is a fantastic baby always smiling and loves to cuddle:) 1 out of 5 isn't bad. My sister in laws mom likes to take pictures as a hobby and she came over and took some adorable photos of Rory. She is 10 weeks old in the photos. She is the smiliest baby and of course when we were taking pictures we could hardly get her to smile but as soon as the camera battery died she was all smiles. Oh well we still got some great ones:) Thanks so much Sherry!

New Shirts
Well Behaved
Yesterday we woke up to a gray and gloomy day and I decided it was a perfect day to get out of the house. The girls had been doing great with their school work lately and I thought a fun day out of the house was a perfect reward. I let the girls pick our activity and after some thought Sydney said "I know the perfect day, we should go to Target and buy a shirt and go out to lunch." Shopping sure starts young:) Anyway I thought it was a great idea and off we went. We went to Kohl's instead because it is much closer to my house and to Wendy's for lunch because it is in the same parking lot. While we were at lunch the girls were eating quietly being the well behaved girls they normally are and an older gentleman came up to us. He laid ten dollars on the table and said, "Please may I buy your kids ice cream after they are done with their lunch. They are so cute and well behaved." This is the second time they have earned a reward for their behavior by a stranger. They earned Icees once with Jerame's Aunt Becca from a convenience store manager. My kids have truly learned the lesson being good really pays:)
After lunch they were to full to have ice cream so we went shopping first. I am happy to say that I have found my new shopping buddy. I was feeling sad for myself earlier in the day because my sister was so far away and she has always been my shopping buddy. Well she has officially been replaced by my sweet, sweet girls. So much fun, they all picked out their clothes and then we walked over to my section and we all looked through the clearance racks (because they have the best clearance at Kohl's). They helped me pick out things they thought were cute and then we went and tried them on. Sydney is quite vocal with her opinion, "Mom that is so cute on you." "Mom that totally doesn't look good." She has quite the opinion that girl.
After our shopping adventure we met Jerame at Sam's Club for ice cream for the girls and lunch for Dad. It was a super day and I gotta say I love my family.

Sunny days
My girls love going to the park especially after we have had a bunch of cold days and haven't been outside in a while. My mom invited us over for a picnic at her neighborhood park which is always a favorite activity.
Christmas
Christmas started Christmas Eve for us. Jerame's mom and her side of the family came over for dinner and then we went to Christmas Eve service. Here are the girls opening their presents from Jerame's mom.
Christmas morning was the usual chaos and craziness. Every year we have a big brunch and whoever wants to come watch the girls open presents comes over. This year Jerame's dad and stepmom, my Nana and my Aunt Bonnie came over. It was lots of fun and the girls got some great gifts. Here they are all holding the signs I made them for their rooms. Besides their names the say :I am a child of God." They were all excited because Rory already had one hanging in her nursery and they wanted one too.
Rory spent most of the morning camped out in Aunt Jessica's arms. Oh yea, she was their too!!
We spent the rest of the day at my mom's with all of my family. Brothers, sisters, cousins, Nana, Great Aunt Bonnie and some friends. Here are some pictures of our day in no particular order.
The girls with their favorite cousin Ashton. He had to go to his dad's so we only got to see him for a little while but the girls had a good time while they could.

December 2010
I am just going to highlight some of the fun December activities that we did. At least the ones I remembered to take pictures of (Disclaimer: these are not in order because I am to lazy to move them all around and this is how they downloaded) We had a Christmas bonfire smores included with Nana and Papa. Aunt Christin and Uncle Beau along with Aunt Christin's parents Sherry and Chris came over too.
Baby Rory had her first set of piggy tails:)
Rory did a lot of this!
The silly big sisters decorated a gingerbread house all by themselves. Audrey is such a goof ball this picture really shows her personality.
We went to a Christmas program at the library with some friends and our neighbors. Kennedy got picked to go up and help.
Thanksgiving
Everyday I get up and say today is the day I will catch up on my blogging and then dishes, school, laundry, a crying baby, a two year old to chase after and it is 10 o'clock pm and no blogging. So the baby is sleeping, my two year old is sleeping and the big girls are playing the WII so I am ignoring my laundry and blogging:) I only feel a little guilty. Anyway I guess I should start with Thanksgiving because that is were I left off.
We had a belated Thanksgiving this year because my dad was in the hospital until Thanksgiving day so we celebrated on Saturday. He had a complication of a procedure from the previous week but he is just fine. It was a great day with all of our family. It was the first time that most of my family had gotten to meet Rory.
My Aunt Bonnie brought over an old box of Christmas decorations and the girls had a fabulous time decorating each other up as trees. It was way cute and they had a great time.
