Ode to Audrey

Oh my beautiful Audrey. Could you tell by looking at the this sweet smiling girl that a devil lurked within. Just kidding, but she is one wild, crazy, hair raising child. We broke the mold with Audrey and instead of writing her birthday post which is 2 months late I decided to record some of the wonderful Audrey stories because seriously there is one every single day.
All of these pictures came from the two months prior to her turning 2. She has been insane since she was born but to make the post a reasonable length I am just using a couple of months.
Here she is squeaky clean having just got out of the bath with a new diaper put on her. Daddy went to go get her pajamas and came back to this.
This girl has a very unique style all of her own. We borrowed these snow boots when we went to the snow. They were for Delaney and she loved them and tried to wear them everywhere. I finally had to hide them.
What is this do you ask? Audrey has a fascination with opening, spilling, and getting into anything she is not aloud to. I was teaching preschool and we were having story time and Audrey comes up to me with shiny hands. I figured she had gotten into the lotion again or had soap all over hands because she is constantly playing in the sink. But low and behold it smelled a little weird and a survey of the house showed she had gotten into the olive oil. The same week as this she dumped an entire bowl of Cinnamon Crunch Toast cereal milk and all on Delaney's head. She wanted some of Delaney's cereal and Delaney told her no. I can kick myself for not taking pictures because it really was oh so funny but poor Delaney was to upset about it for me to have been taking pictures. I do believe Delaney will share next time though!!
Even strapped into the car she finds a way to show her quirky personality.
Did I mention she is a climber too. I was vacuuming and realized I hadn't seen Audrey in a while which is never good so we searched everywhere and here she was hiding in the book case. Her first time climbing on the counter. Definitely not her last but she is much better now than she used to be. So here's to my crazy, wonderful, sweet Audrey!! I love you so much and my life would be so boring with out you!

Looks like she and Jonah (wright) are a match made in HEAVEN!!! He likes to pour the sugar into the flour container and all sorts of similarly exciting things. WOW!
