Baby #5 is a......

Today is Jerame and I's 8th anniversary, so as a surprise to him I took him to get a 3D ultrasound of our baby so we could find out what we were having. We had never had a 3D ultrasound and I thought it would be fun for our last child to do one. Anyway it turned out to be a ton of work to find out what we were having. The baby was sitting cross legged on her feet and did not want us to look. The wonderful technician spent double the amount of time as normal just so she could coax the baby into moving. Her efforts eventually paid off and we are having a GIRL!

She kept her hand in her mouth the whole time. She has the same narrow face all of my kids have and the cutest little fingers. We are super excited. Now the name hunt begins. Jerame gets to name this one and he has it narrowed down to a few he likes best. His top two favorites are Rory and Rylee. We are always open to suggestions though!

Funny of the Day

I went to check on Audrey while she was napping today and opened the door and she was not in her bed. I could hear her breathing but did not see her anywhere so I looked under her bed and in the closet and turned around and saw this.
You see the little leg sticking out from under the bed. I just started laughing. Sydney was notorious for sleeping anywhere but in her bed when she was Audrey's age but this is a first for Audrey. Too funny! Here she is with the blanket moved. From the looks of the room she played awhile before she fell asleep. There are quite a few toys and clothes from the dresser out that were definitely not there before. Oh Audrey life with you around is never dull!!!

Ode to Audrey

Oh my beautiful Audrey. Could you tell by looking at the this sweet smiling girl that a devil lurked within. Just kidding, but she is one wild, crazy, hair raising child. We broke the mold with Audrey and instead of writing her birthday post which is 2 months late I decided to record some of the wonderful Audrey stories because seriously there is one every single day.
All of these pictures came from the two months prior to her turning 2. She has been insane since she was born but to make the post a reasonable length I am just using a couple of months.
Here she is squeaky clean having just got out of the bath with a new diaper put on her. Daddy went to go get her pajamas and came back to this.
This girl has a very unique style all of her own. We borrowed these snow boots when we went to the snow. They were for Delaney and she loved them and tried to wear them everywhere. I finally had to hide them.
What is this do you ask? Audrey has a fascination with opening, spilling, and getting into anything she is not aloud to. I was teaching preschool and we were having story time and Audrey comes up to me with shiny hands. I figured she had gotten into the lotion again or had soap all over hands because she is constantly playing in the sink. But low and behold it smelled a little weird and a survey of the house showed she had gotten into the olive oil. The same week as this she dumped an entire bowl of Cinnamon Crunch Toast cereal milk and all on Delaney's head. She wanted some of Delaney's cereal and Delaney told her no. I can kick myself for not taking pictures because it really was oh so funny but poor Delaney was to upset about it for me to have been taking pictures. I do believe Delaney will share next time though!!
Even strapped into the car she finds a way to show her quirky personality.
Did I mention she is a climber too. I was vacuuming and realized I hadn't seen Audrey in a while which is never good so we searched everywhere and here she was hiding in the book case. Her first time climbing on the counter. Definitely not her last but she is much better now than she used to be. So here's to my crazy, wonderful, sweet Audrey!! I love you so much and my life would be so boring with out you!

It's been long enough

Hello blogging world. I figured it was time to surface once again. I am doing much better than my last post thankfully. I have not been super sick for a few weeks now. I little nauseous at time but I am able to catch it with the medicine before it gets to bad. Today was a momentous day I made it the whole day without having to take any medicine at all. Woo Hoo can it be over. I can dream right.... Okay so other than me not dying anymore we have successfully moved into our new home and thanks to my mother in law and Ron's help we have decorated and it looks fabulous. I hate the feeling of bare walls, I felt like I was still living in someone else's home but have not been feeling well enough to do anything about it. Saturday they came over and helped hang pictures and curtain rods. It definitely is not done but it makes me smile every morning when I come down the stairs and see my stuff. I will post pictures another day this week I am to tired to do it now. Updates without pictures are boring but it is way passed my bed time (I know I am lame it is like 8:30) but something is better than nothing!
