Hawaii Day 4

Today we got up and went to an out door swap meet that wrapped all the way around the Aloha Bowl Stadium. It was way fun and we did all of our souvenir shopping here but I did not take any pictures of this. I know lame:( So on to the rest of our day.....
When we were at the house we spent 90% of our time on the great balcony patio. Here Rory and I are relaxing before we head down to the beach.
There was a huge outdoor couch on the balcony that everyone enjoyed relaxing on and taking naps. Rory had a great time practicing sitting up on it.
This was the view from the balcony:) This is what we saw out of our bedroom window. We had a door that opened up onto the balcony. Not a bad way to wake up every morning!
Everyone was a little tired after the wedding. Aunt Jessica and Rory had a nice little nap:)
The rest of the afternoon was spent at the beach. It was so much fun!! Rory liked relaxing in the shade in her cute swim suit.
We took her down to the ocean and stuck her toes in but she wasn't having any fun and just cried. She really doesn't like cold water, she does the same thing when we stick her toes in the pool.
There were lots of waves today.
Jerame decided to go ride the waves on a boogie board.
As soon as he got in the waves died but they came back.
All that fresh air made for a tired Rory.
It was mighty warm outside so all the girls had to brave the ocean to cool off. There was quite an undertow with all the waves and we looked ridiculous trying to stand in the water. We were all laughing so hard at how silly we looked. We kept saying here comes a big one and all the local children that were at our feet kept telling us those aren't big that's nothing.
We finally realized that we were just gonna have to get in. Oh it was so much fun. I have always been a little scared of the ocean and have never been in it this far. We had a blast and laughed and laughed. We even did some body surfing:)
That evening all of Jerri Sue's and Ron's friends came over for a BBQ. Rory slept her way through the party. She slept great in Hawaii. All that fresh air! More sunsets. They were the prettiest this day. I think I said that everyday though.

Hawaii Day 3

Wedding Day! We spent most of today laying around in the sun, relaxing and reading. The wedding was at sunset so we had most of the day to enjoy the beach. Here are all the girls right before the ceremony started. Behind the greenery arch way is the backyard to the house. (From left to right Rory and I, Jennifer Ron's daughter in law, Jessica Jerame's sister, and Jerame's mom Jerri Sue)
Jerame got to walk his mom down the aisle.
Here is the whole family. The new people in this picture from the one above are Ron and his son Jason.
A few more fun shots.
Seriously the cutest kid ever!!
As I promised before more sunsets:)

Hawaii Day 2

Day 2 was the longest day in history. Rory woke up at her usual AZ time which was 4:15 am in Hawaii and there was no getting her back to sleep. So we were up and dressed and ready by 6:30 in the morning. We relaxed around the house for a little while then went for a drive up the coast. It truly is a beautiful place.

Next we went and drove around BYU Hawaii and went to visit the temple they have on Oahu. It is a really gorgeous building. A lot like our AZ temple with the flat roof.

It was a little windy that day in case you can't tell. You can see all the way to the ocean from the temple steps. It kinda blended in with the sky but trust me you can see the ocean:)
They had these crazy trees all over Hawaii. They were so cool I expected Tarzan to come swinging through the vines at any moment. After our outing we went back and Rory took a nap and Jerame and I spent the rest of the afternoon reading and relaxing by the ocean. Seriously it can not get better than that.
That night we had a memorial service for Jerame's grandma that passed away like 5 years ago. She wanted her ashes scattered in Hawaii. This is Jerame's Great Aunt Diane holding Rory. She was such a good sport letting everyone hold her.
Grandma and Rory. I mean who could resist holding a kid this cute!!! The pastor did a great job and had a really nice message to say. Everyone had these Hawaiian birds of paradise to throw into the water. Everyone had planned to just put their feet in the water but the pastor had another plan and everyone was just shy of waist high in water. It gave a little comic relief to the evening as everyone tried not to get tossed over by a wave. Day two was another fabulous day and I didn't get any sunset pictures for today, aren't you sad:( Just joking I know there are more to come I promise!!!

Hawaii Day 1

We left for Hawaii last Sunday to go to Jerame's moms wedding. They took all of their kids with them to their destination wedding in Oahu. Oh are we glad they did!!!! We had a fabulous, amazing, terrific and relaxing trip.... the list could go on and on. Thanks so much Jerri Sue and Ron!
We got through the flight with flying colors. Rory was great and didn't fuss at all. We went straight to the house on Oahu, North Shore when we got their. It was a fabulous house with room for everyone. Here is Jerame's Grandpa playing with Rory while we unpacked! She was seriously awesome on the trip. She did great with the time change and everything!
After unpacking we were off to the beach. We walked through an arch in the backyard and were on the beach. The only way to go to the beach by the way:)
Rory chilling under the umbrella.
Happy happy girl. I think she was just happy to not be held after being held for the entire flight.
Beautiful beach with the stickiest sand I have ever seen. Here we are pre-tan:)
It was so green everywhere. I am totally in love with Hawaii.
Okay so I took a billion sunset pictures I just couldn't help it. They were so amazing so you will just half to bear with me as I put some up for each day!
Rory and daddy playing and sitting on the balcony watching the sunset.
Day one was a success and we all slept fabulous with the sound of the ocean in the background. I miss that the most!!
